An Introduction to the Gurdjieff Work : Two Experiential Workshops

These workshops will provide an introduction to some of the forms of the Gurdjieff Work—including ideas, work in Movements, music, exchange of self-observations, and some physical work together.
All these forms together constitute the integrity of the teaching. An exclusive emphasis on any one form, such as meditation or Movements, is not encouraged.

The venue for the workshops will be at:
Zorba the Buddha (also known as the Global Art Village)
, 7 Tropical Drive, Ghitorni (opposite the Gitorni Metro Station), New Delhi - 110 030, India.

The first workshop will be on Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The second workshop will be on Sunday, January 1, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The cost of participation is Rs. 1000 per workshop or Rs. 1800 for both.
The cost includes lunch and two refreshments.
[Those who wish to stay overnight at Zorba the Buddha should make their own arrangements.]

These workshops will be led by Ravi Ravindra who worked closely for many years with Madame Jeanne de Salzmann, the closest pupil of Gurdjieff and the head  of the Work after his death in 1949 until her own death in 1990 at the age of 101. He has described his experiences in his book Heart Without Measure: Gurdjieff Work With Madame de Salzmann. The work in Movements will be brought by Priscilla Murray who has been involved in the Work for more than thirty years.
